Salem is my hometown. After graduating from Salem Community High School I attended Kaskaskia College and obtained my Associate in Arts degree. My Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Finance was completed at Eastern Illinois University. My early career included auto financing, business development, marketing, underwriting, collections and management. Transitioning into banking allowed me to continue with loan development and also incorporate home equity loans, commercial loans and investments of CD’s and annuities. Financing experience has helped with my real estate career and with my personal drive I have been a top producer in the area year after year.
Real estate is an exciting path that allows me to meet people and help them achieve their needs and wants. Since 2007 I have worked with residential, land and businesses. My experience range from first time home buyers, investors, relocation, farm land, hunting land, foreclosures, and clients wanting to downsize or purchase a larger home. I have owned multiple homes, CRP property, farm ground, lake property, hunting property and a business so my experience helps me understand my clients needs in my day to day business.
Purchasing Somer Real Estate in 2019 has enabled me to fulfill one of my dreams and find my home away from home. I plan to continue the great customer service that has been with the office since 1975. We have a great environment of agents working together to achieve goals of our clients. We cobroker with other offices and can help our clients by getting to know each other and working together from the beginning of the process to the closing by showing any property in the area.
I have been active in the Salem Chamber of Commerce, Salem Grace Church and the Egyptian Board of Realtors. Community involvement is very important to me.
On a personal note – My husband is an avid hunter in his free time and shares my love of the southern Illinois land. Our son also hunts and fishes any possible moment that he can. Our daughter also hunts, plays softball, basketball, volleyball and loves to golf.
